Basic Beading 1hr.  Acquire the skills to make your own jewelry at home the professional way. You'll create & wear home a beaded bracelet with a charm while learning the techniques to make anything you can dream up ... necklaces, earrings, lanyards, eyeglass straps, etc! Included in the class: all supplies, tools, materials, experienced patient instruction, a good time & a classroom full of beautiful glass beads! Cost is $15 all inclusive.

Prepayment is necessary to reserve your seat as our classes fill quickly with 6 students limit. Call 605.977.2147

Keloland Spotlight Vouchers: bring a paper printout of your keloland voucher before March 31, 2012 to register or to receive your beading class certificate (valid until 2013). A physical copy must be presented  to the Bead Co in person prior to reservation. Classes limited to 6 students, preregistration/prepayment is necessary.

Basic Wire:  2hrs $30 You will learn to bend, twist, shape, texture and wrap wire.  Make earrings, pendants, baubles and home decor with wire, beads and found objects.  Students will have much hands-on practice and leave with examples. 

Spiral Weave:  2hrs $35+beads A Bead Co favorite. Fantastic, relaxing, therapeutic process of spiraling beads. Create bracelets, necklaces & using either delicate and precise or larger and fun various beads.

Floating Necklace: 2hrs  A beautiful, funky way to use simple crimping techniques. This class teaches the basics of designing a two strand necklace using crimp beads to separate the beads. $35+ beads 

Beaded Ornaments  3hrs $45+beads Beaded Ornaments make the perfect gift or heirloom. You'll learn bead netting around an ornament. Then you can use the technique to decorate anything from Easter eggs to candle holders, wine bottles and yes, ornaments! 

Peyote Stitch 2-3 hrs $35-45 Learn basic peyote stitch, a beautiful technique on its own and a springboard to other advanced stitches and techniques. We'll cover flat stitch to create bracelets and cuffs as well as round stitch to create beads and tubes.

Garden Bangle: 3hrs $45+beads A great twist on the much loved peyote stitch! This class teaches the even count peyote stitch with stretchy stringing material and colorful square Miyuki glass beads.

Stretch Stitch Cuffs:  2hrs  $45+beads  A great twist on the much loved peyote stitch! This class teaches the even count peyote stitch with stretchy stringing material and colorful square Miyuki glass beads. You can then continue working this technique with different shapes and sizes! 

Figure 8 Bracelet:   2hrs $30 A woven beaded beauty. This bracelet adds a fun twist to basic stringing. We recommend basic stringing or crimping class or knowledge as a prerequisite. 

Holiday Bracelet (pearl weave): 2hrs  $45+ beads An elegant expressive or fashionably funky woven bracelet. In three easy steps, this deceptive technique is an easy eye-catcher to master quickly. 

Mother's Bracelet: 2hrs $25+beads Learn basic stringing and crimping to create a beautiful 'Mother's Bracelet' or 'Someone Special' bracelet with birthstones and/or name(s). We will provide instruction and stringing materials, you pick the beads! $25 + beads.

Woven Word /Silk Slide Bracelet  2hrs $30 Create an adjustable silk macrame bracelet. It can be casual or dressy, have letter or other beads and can be made with various stringing materials.  $30+ accent beads 

Wire Rings 2hrs $35+ beads (advanced wire) Learn to make wire rings with beaded accents! We suggest basic wire knowledge for this class. Many different techniques will be introduced to make a ring of any size for every finger. 

 'Cha-Cha' Bracelets:  2hrs $35+beads  Create a funky charm bracelet with handmade bead baubles! This class teaches basic wire looping technique you can later use to create charms, earrings, pendants! You may have some homework.

Wire & Chain Work:  2hrs  $30 In this class you will learn to connect wire links to pieces of chain to add a funky or elegant twist on working with wire. $30 + beads/chain (extra charge if you choose to use sterling) 

Beaded Wire Cuff:  2-3hrs pm. $45+ beads (advanced wire) Learn to bend, shape, texture and form wire into a cuff bracelet. Embellish by adding wire wrapping, beads, stones, metal, etc. This class is a big hit!  

Chandelier Earrings:  2hrs $25+ beads Learn how to make endless pairs of simple or dangling earrings! Great for the holidays or special occasions! You will also learn charms and basic wire techniques in this class. 

Advanced Wire Work:  2hrs $30 Take wire working to the next level. Make decorative elements, rings, cuffs and more. This class is great for anyone who enjoys working with wire and loves to be creative. We suggest Basic Wire class or knowledge as a prerequisite. 

Viking Style Wire Weave 3hrs $45+ materials: Learn this interesting old world wire weaving pattern. This ancient technique of weaving and drawing wire to strengthen and compact the weave will be mastered while you create a stunning bracelet or necklace of fine silver  $45 (+30 materials fee) 

Gift Ideas  2hrs $30+beads  You'll have plenty of time to make these easy, inexpensive personalized beaded ideas for everyone on your list. Ideas include bookmarks, snowflakes, keychains, charms, window jewels. 

Anklets & Sunglass Straps  6-8p, $30 includes supplies. A great Summer Class project! We'll make beaded anklets and eyeglass/sunglass straps just in time for the season.

Belt Buckles and Beadables 2hrs $45 + (bring or buy beads to glue)  Make your own beaded & jeweled belt buckle. We'll help you with the technique and design. You will also get ideas for other beadable items such as wine stoppers, rings, pens, etc. 

Hammered Wire Jewelry: 2hrs Learn to hammer & texture wire forms and shapes to use as focal points or components in your jewelry design. This adds a professional, sophisticated, eclectic and impressive element to your work. $45+ accent beads 

Hemp & Macrame 2hrs $25+beads Learn the hemp and macrame basics such as 4 strand knotting in flat or twist styles. Add any beads you wish to make bracelets, necklaces and more. 

Wire Rings:  Use beads, buttons, wire and other found objects to create rings. We'll make both a hammered wire ring and a beaded wire ring, then it's time for creative practice with our guidance and assistance! Basic wire working ability (earrings, charms, loops) is recommended but not required.

  Playful Pendants:  2hrs  Learn to bend, twist and create beautiful pendants by adding cascading bead drops. $30+ materials 

Beaded Watches 2hrs  Design and create beaded watches with permanent or interchangeable beaded bands. Use one watch face for many looks. Dress up your current watch, make great gifts and timeless fashionable pieces.$30+ watch/beads  

PMC/Metal Clay: 3-4 hrs $75(+ $25 materials fee)  Make your own beads and components out of .999 Fine Silver! This class teaches you how to use precious metal clay to form a bead, pendant, etc and then turn the clay into silver with a torch or kiln. 

Glass Hot Fusing:  3-4 hrs  $75 (+ $15 materials fee)  Learn how to cut and layer glass. Pieces will then be fused together in a kiln to create jewelry! Make pendants, beads, earrings. Class project = 2-3 pendants 

Glass Cold Fusing:  3-4 hrs  $65 (+ $12 materials fee)  Learn how to cut and layer glass. Pieces will then be cold fused together to create jewelry! Make pendants, beads, earrings. Class project = 2-3 pendants  

Fine Silver Chain Fusing 3-4 hrs Learn the technique of fusing, shaping, hammering, stamping fine silver wire into chain or components for jewelry. $75 + $20 materials (also optional torch, pliers, hammers, additional silver wire, etc can be purchased at class)

Basic Soldering: 3-4 hrs $75+supplies  Learn how to solder with sterling silver and an inexpensive torch! Make your own simple findings & components. This is a great starting point for more silversmithing.

Anklets & Sunglass Straps  6-8p, $30 includes supplies. Time for summer projects. We'll make beaded anklets and eyeglass/sunglass straps just in time for the season.

*Note* most classes include use of our equipment, supplies & specific beads. Some classes do require an additional materials fee as listed. If you wish, you may purchase any tools, special beads or supplies at a discount the night of class. A nonrefundable payment is required to reserve your seat.

Once you schedule a class, the seat is yours. We limit classes to 5-6 seats so that all students get proper attention and must accommodate for instructors', employees', supply & equipment fees. It's the only way to be fair to all who wish to take the classes. The following is our refund policy for those 'just in case' circumstances.  Students under the age of 16 need to be accompanied by an adult.

We can issue a refund in the form of merchandise credit only in the following amount and circumstance: 48 hours prior, a merchandise certificate will be issued minus a 20% administrative fee. Less than 24hr.s = no refund can be given
