**If you do not have a crimping pliers,

you can simply flatten or crush the crimp beads with a chain nose or small flat pliers.

(We do not recommend the 'micro crimper' tool)

The process of forming the crimp requires two steps - a crimping step and a final rounding step.

In the crimping pliers jaws jaws, you'll see the initial crimping station (E) and the final rounding station (F).

At the last bead (A), the wire (B) is passed through the crimp bead or crimp tube (C) - through the clasp or jump ring (D) - back through the crimp (C) - and back through the end bead and about 1 more inch of beads when possible(A).

In STEP 1, the crimp bead or tube is fully secured to the cord in the crimping station (E). Best results are obtained when the two cords are positioned on either side of the center dimple.

In STEP 2, the final shaping is carried out in the rounding station (F). Here the half rounded crimp is further rolled up to form the finished crimp. Note that in moving from the crimping to the rounding station, the assembly is rotated 90 degrees.

Check the size and the flexibility of your design before crimping the last end.

We recommend using 2 crimp beads at each end. The type of crimp beads you use does not matter and is entirely up to your personal preferrence. The beads and the clasp that you use are also completely up to you! There is no right or wrong in designing.
